Wanderlust is something people characterize as travel freak. But, is the term confined to just that much?
It isn’t. You needn’t be a travel freak or travel a lot to call yourself a wanderlust. It’s all about your desire to explore the world. From mountains to beaches, from the sky to the underwater… or even planes to trains! It’s not what you see; it’s about what you want to see. Travelling may be still a luxury to the wanderlust, but no one can wreck the power of the desire to explore- be it through travelling or… Just imagination? You decide!

This is a Srikalahasti Kalamkari painting of a beautiful and passionate peacock. This Kalamkari painting portrays dignity, pride, strength, beauty and uniqueness . According to some myths, in history, lore, and legend, the peacock symbol carries omens of nobility, guidance, holiness, watchfulness, rejuvenation and protection. This piece signifies the strength of self-love and self-confidence that keeps you passionate towards your path.

This is a Katchni style of the Godna Madhubani painting. This painting represents a turtle which is a symbol of longetivity of the earth. It also symbolises perseverance, steadfastness, protection, retreat, tranquility, healing and transformation. As we know Godna style is the older Indian madhubani style mandala art, thus representated in concentric circles symbolises concentration, time-microcosm and related to human psychology. It’is also a kind of bharni style madhubani as no empty spaces are left in the whole painting. This painting is wholesome as well as eye catching.

This is a Bharni Madhubani painting of a beautiful and rich lady with her pet cockatoos. This painting portrays the life style of rich ladies of that time- enjoying luxuries, designer clothes and jewellery; their gracefulness and down to earth nature in a unique way. On the other hand it also signifies the male dominated society and how women were kept reserved, undisclosed and non-communicative to the world.

This is a creative representation of fusion mandala art. Sunflower is the symbol of good luck and long lasting happiness. It also symbolises loyalty and faithfulness, hope, beauty, delight and most importantly, Renewal. Sunflower represents summer, which is the time to reap what you planted, which builds relaxation and refreshment as well. Mandala is a spiritual guidance tool which represents concentration and self acceptance. This fusion mandala represents the spiritual journey, the concentration, the dedication you give to what you need to achieve, the cosmic diagram that shows the relation between your inner self, the strength of your sub conscious mind, and the world that extends beyond various minds and bodies.

This is an abstract and innovative representation of a strong lady through African tribal art. The red attire of the woman represents life, health, bravery, love, romance and passion. the woman here is passionate, aggressive, energetic, strong willed and outspoken. The yellow background shows that she is delighted and happy. Yellow represents the fire in her, the force of life, her ability to destroy or even her ability to create. Women, in form of goddess, are blessings to the good, curse to the devils.
